Included Blade Stack:

Saw blades are Italian made nickel-plated, with tooth configurations suitable for fine, chip-free kerfs in plastic, laminates, unfinished veneers and pre-finished woods.

Following is the circular saw blade tooth configuration on the   made in Italy, nickel plated, carbide circular saw blades in this sale. Included are 8, 10, and 12 inch dia. blades, all near new.

NOTE: Blade list includes 1/8th inch kerf accept as noted.

One 8 inch, 24 tooth Flat Top (FT) 1/4 inch kerf

Flat top teeth are used on blades for ripping hard and soft woods which are less likely to chip and splinter when being cut in the direction of the grain. The flat top teeth are most efficient for raking material out of the cut.

Two 10 inch Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) which means the blade teeth alternate between right and left hand bevel which gives a smoother cut when crosscutting natural woods and veneered plywood. The alternate beveled teeth form a knife-like edge on either side of the blade and make a cleaner cut than flat top teeth. A used 80 tooth blade of this configuration is currently in use on the Unisaw and ready to be set aside in the saw table drawer, saved for used material that may have unseen nails or staples.

One 10 inch Combination (Comb, 4&1) which means the blade is designed to do both crosscutting and ripping, the teeth in groups of arranged in groups of five – four ATB (alternate top bevel) teeth and one FT (flat top) – with a large gullet in between the groups.

One 10 inch Triple Chip Grain (TCG) which excels at cutting hard materials like laminates, MDF and plastics. Teeth alternate between a flat raking tooth and higher “trapeze” tooth.

Two 10 inch High Alternate Top Bevel (HiATB) profile blades are used for extra fine crosscutting and to cut materials surfaced with melamine, which is prone to chipping. The high bevel angle increases the knife-like action at the edge of the blade. The Delta Radial Arm saw and the Unisaw both now have new blades of this type.

One 10 inch High Alternate Top Bevel (HiATB) 1/16 inch kerf. Used for extra fine soft wood ripping such as cedar strips for canoe building. The high bevel angle increases the knife-like action at the edge of the blade.

One 12 inch 60 Tooth (HiATB) 1 inch bore, 1/8 inch kerf.

One 12 inch 90 Tooth (HiATB) 1 inch bore, 1/8 inch kerf.
