VARIABLE SPEED COVE & BEAD MACHINE
Simultaneous profiling of bead and cove with carbide bits.
120V – 12.4A (Power Feed 1.2A Routers two each at 5.6A
12 Gal – 45 L capacity, 6 hp Cove/Bead Dust Collector: 120V - 10.5A
2 Porter Cable 7301 HD Routers - 1 for Cove, 1 for Bead.
1 Shop Fox Variable Speed Model #1264 power feeder.
User selected min feed speed – 5 sec per foot = 90 sec per 18 ft length
User selected max feed speed – 2.5 sec per foot = 45 sec per 18 ft length
NOTE: Ripping yields from 8 inch wide plank:
Rip 1/4” strips from 8 inch plank with 1/8” kerf blade yields 16 strips
Rip 1/4” strips from 8 inch plank with 1/16” kerf blade yields 20 strips
Included with the machine is one nickel plated, 1/16” kerf saw blade.
If using 16 strips per canoe (set) w/variable feed-speed dial setting at:
Low speed = Cove/bead profiling time of 24 minutes per set of 16
High speed = Cove/bead profiling time of 12 minutes per set of 16
